This course provides the instruction required to obtain the Georgia Guard Card (armed and unarmed). It covers state-specific laws, regulations, and best practices governing private security officers in Georgia, and prepares students to perform duties professionally, safely, and lawfully.

Course objectives

  • Explain the role, authority, and responsibilities of a Georgia security guard, including permissible actions and limitations under Georgia law.
